PAINT: To start painting, first shake your can of Peel Coat for one minute after the mixing ball starts rattling. To apply your first coat, hold the can 8-12” away from your rim and spray in a back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke.
Our recommendation is the BullsEye 123 Water-Based Primer, which is available at most home improvement stores. Priming is important here as it helps to prevent rust, creates an even finish, and helps the final coat of enamel paint adhere to the steel’s slick surface. Use a high-performance enamel spray paint to apply the final coats.

You'll want to prep the surface well for best results (same goes for the hoop obvs), as well as using a good primer underneath ideally.
